NIGHT SHIFT
Shooting news stills for 4 months now,
when majority of the people have rested
after long work with the sun
and others
adapt to all that mind pollution they
encounter before they sleep.
I contemplate to every streetlight
I pass by, noticing those thinking/
sleepy
streetlight when they blink.
I always blink.
This is night shift and
This is me for 5 months now.

METRO MANILA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
May 25, 2007. Members of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) demolition team clash with the illegal settlers along E. Rodriguez, near Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. The MMDA tried to tear down their houses as part of the MMDA sidewalk clearing operation. The road was closed for about 30 minutes due of the riot.
