The image was taken one morning using my Mobile Scream camera, a red Nokia E63, last December 23. The tree was located in the middle of the vast rice field at our province in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines where the family roots of my father and mother came from.

“From the North”

One of the best images I captured last December and now it became three in square frames. We all know that the greeting is late but, Happy 2011, good morning everyone.

I wrote as a New Year greeting to everyone on Facebook, a social networking site, which been shared on the 11^th of January at 2:11am. The whole image was divided into three just to maximize the space, to compromise to the new Facebook profile lay-out. Any political, social, economical, psychological and scientific approach in analyzing this photo is fine with me. As you notice, the sun shines brighter at the middle image where a man rest behind the shades created by the leaves of a full grown tree.
